Envel™ UHPC Panel Systems
Envel™ UHPC panel systems are produced by Envel Facade using ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) panels. Research and development of UHPC panels began more than 20 years ago, and the result of this research was a technological breakthrough in cementitious materials. The matrix is such that it has extremely low porosity and permeability, thereby attributing to its superior durability, ductility and strength.
Envel™ Benefits
The benefits of UHPC panels are many: excellent resistance to abrasion, impact, chemicals, freeze-thaw, carbonation and chloride ion penetration. It is also extremely moldable, which makes it an ideal material for a vast range of architectural and structural precast elements that are thin and lightweight with enhanced surface finishes.
